Lehigh Valley fans certainly got their money's worth at The Pig Pen.  Vince Velasquez(5-6) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs toppled the Outlaw Josey Wales 1 to 0.

Velasquez gave the home town fans an evening that they'll never forget.  He walked 3 Outlaw batters.  The tension built to a fever pitch.  After the 8th inning everybody in the ballpark was anticipating what would happen in the 9th.  The Outlaw offense proved no trouble in the 9th. 

Zack Wheeler(5-3) absorbed the loss.  He surrendered just 4 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.  Velasquez was in a jubilant mood after the game.  'If I'd known I was going to throw a no hitter I would have gotten a haircut!' he said, much to the delight of the clubhouse gathering.
